From the airport
The nearest international airport is Naples-Capodichino (NAP), as Salerno airport still has limited international routes.
by car
- From Naples: The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. We recommend taking the A3 Naples-Salerno motorway, exiting at the Zona Industriale of Salerno, and continuing along the SS18 towards Agropoli, avoiding potential traffic from the Battipaglia exit. Follow the signs for Prignano Cilento. From there, Rocca Cilento Castle is about a 10-minute drive away.
- From Salerno: The journey by car takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We also recommend taking the Zona Industriale exit and continuing along the SS18, avoiding the Battipaglia exit traffic. Follow signs for Agropoli, then Prignano Cilento, from where the Castle is easily reachable within a few minutes.
By train + taxi/car rental
- From Naples: From Naples Centrale station, you can take a regional or high-speed train to Agropoli-Castellabate (about 1 hour and 10 minutes).
- From Salerno: From Salerno station, the train to Agropoli-Castellabate takes about 40 minutes.
- Once you arrive at Agropoli-Castellabate station, you can take a taxi or rent a car to reach Prignano Cilento and subsequently the Castle (approximately 20-25 minutes by road).
Dedicated Bus Service
For those who do not plan to rent a car or use their own vehicle, we are considering providing a shuttle bus service from both Naples Capodichino and Salerno to facilitate transportation. More information will be provided soon.

Hotel
5 double rooms all with bathrooms, one also featuring a single bed. The cost for a double room is €55 per night, and €75 for the room with 3 beds.

5 rooms in the lower house at €110 per night per room – DUS €80

6 rooms for a total of 16 beds divided as follows: 3 double rooms, 2 double rooms with an extra bed, 1 double room with a bunk bed for two. The cost of the double room is €90 per night, and an extra charge of €15 is applied for each additional bed. The DUS (double for single use) room costs €65.
Rooms are reserved until April 10, 2025. Minimum stay of 2 nights.
